2015 Silvermist Sauvignon Blanc

  • Nose: Light fragrant tropical notes with hints of refreshing citrus accompanied by ripened fig and underlying floral aromas, held together by an alluring minerality.
  • Palate: The palate is clean, well-rounded and refreshing, packed with complex subtleties such as quince fruit, ripened fig and prominent lime characteristics as the wine opens up, leaving a rich and creamy sensation in your mouth with a long clean finish.

This Sauvignon Blanc is a 100% Sauvignon and was made from the Organic Vineyards on the Upper most slopes of the Constantia Valley. This purist Sauvignon Blanc was produced from Organic grapes grown exclusively on the estate. Only 16300 bottle were made from the 2015 harvest. The boutique wine collection produced from Silvermist Wine Estate has each bottle individually and sequentially numbered.

2014 Constantia Sauvignon Blanc

  • Colour: Polished Pale Straw
  • Nose: Delicate citrus blossom with hints of passion fruit and underlying green pepper aroms, held together by a well-rounded chalky minirality.
  • Palate: Beautifully balanced with prominent characteristics of lime, lemon leaf, accompanied by subtle hints of sweet melon. This wine is clean, structured, approachable and ready to drink.
  • Vintage: 2014, Only 14300 bottle were made.
  • W.O. Constantia - Blend of two Vineyards
  • Food Pairing: Will pair very well with a host of seafood dishes and any foods incorporating fresh leafy green, goats cheese as well as a variety of anti-pasta.

This Classic Constantia Sauvignon Blanc is 100% Sauvignon and was made from a blend of two vineyards on the upper most slopes of the Constantia Valley. This was made is a sustainable and responsible manner with n artificial, chemical, herbicides or fertilizers used during the farming or wine making process. This vineyard is in it’s second year of conversion to become Organically Certified, a process which can take up to 3 years. The bottled result of this transformation period is a crisp, light sustainably produced Sauvignon Blanc under the Silvermist Organic Vineyards Brand.

2011 Silvermist RocketDog Red

  • Colour: Deep Maroon
  • Nose: Intense purity of rich, dark fruit, infused with Vanilla and caramel with a hint of pencil shavings
  • Palate: Ripe dark fruit accompanied by sweet pipe tobacco with hints of cinnamon. The wine has a spicy, savoury and herbaceous finish which adds to its complexity.
  • Vintage: 2011 Only 1065 bottles were made.

This wine was made in celebration of the spirited character of the wine makers ever faithful dog “Rocket”. The Rocket Dog Red is our Blockbuster os a wine yet soft and complex. The wine is made from a organically certified Shiraz and Cabernet vineyards grown on the farm. The 25% Shiraz is made and aged in a new American barrel and the 75% Cabernet is made and aged in new French barrels, both of which are then blended together at bottling. This wine received a 4 star platter award in 2014.

2010 Silvermist Cabernet Sauvignon

  • Colour: Deep, Enticing maroon which turns brick red towards to edges.
  • Nose: Beautifully restrained with complex fruit from across the spectrum, leading with the juicy ripe Black current and Raspberries followed by hints of Cedar. After a little air exposure, a rich Mocha aroma becomes apparent.
  • Palate: The palate follows up with the dark chocolate and a hint of vanilla backed by and astonishingly elegant acidity and lively tannins that offers a grainy texture to the wine. The extent of ripe fruit and acidity clearly indicates a gracefully aging wine that is definitely worth cellaring for many years
  • Vintage: 2010, Only 515 bottles were made

This wine was made from Organically Certified Vineyards and is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, one of only 510 bottles. Made and Aged in new French Oak, this elegant and complex Cabernet Sauvignon has a great aging potential, receiving a 4 Star platter awards in 2014.
